Fear is persuasive.
It will always give you reasons not to take the next step.
“What if it doesn’t work?”
“What if people judge me?”
“What if I fail?”
If you’ve ever found yourself caught in those thoughts, I want you to know something:
It’s not because you’re weak. It’s because fear is doing exactly what it’s designed to do – keep you safe by keeping you familiar.
But there is something more powerful than fear.
PURPOSE.
When you have a compelling reason why you’re doing something, fear begins to lose its grip.
Because your focus shifts from protecting yourself… to serving something bigger than yourself.
Maybe your dream is to build a business that gives you freedom.
Maybe it’s creating a life your children are proud to witness.
Maybe it’s finally proving to yourself that your best years are not behind you.
Or perhaps it’s using your gifts to change other women’s lives.
Whatever your reason, don’t underestimate its power.
Your ‘why’ becomes your anchor when fear tells you to turn back.
On the days you don’t feel confident…
On the days self-doubt creeps in…
On the days you’d rather stay hidden…
Your mission reminds you why stepping forward matters.
This is something I come back to often.
When fear whispers, “Play small.”
I remember the women who are waiting for someone to show them what’s possible.
When I think about the lives that could be transformed because one woman chose courage over comfort, suddenly my own fear feels much smaller.
That’s the power of purpose.
It doesn’t remove fear.
It simply gives courage a stronger voice.
So today, I’d love you to ask yourself one question:
Why does this dream matter so much to me?
Not what you want to achieve.
But why it matters.
Because when your purpose becomes bigger than your fear…
You stop waiting until you feel brave.
You become brave because your mission is calling you forward.
With fierce love & courage,
Claire x 💛
